Abandoned Place
Brief History of Château Japonais
Château Japonais, sometimes called Château des Chasseurs is a huge mansion in France. The house has a large external staircase to the rear of the property, which curves around with a distinctive semi-spiral. Set in extensive grounds the property stands out elegantly in its surroundings. Internally the house has seen better days, unfortunately and has now fallen into a state of disrepair. The grand features still show through the decay in some places but some of the floors have started to collapse and the entire building has been completely stripped. There is a nice chapel at one end of the house featuring a stained glass window.
